Natural Remedies For Large Pores
Large pores are an issue which can appear always, no matter if you take good care of your face or use various creams.
The cause is oily skin and they can only grow with age.
Treatments are thankfully available, and natural ones are better than the industrial, in quality and price. Here are some natural remedies for large pores:
Milk serum or whey
Milk serum is widely recognized as a face clarifying product, but it can also help in reducing large pores. You should wash your skin at night, with a cotton ball with whey on it, then rinse the face with cold water, about 20 minutes after applying the serum.
Mayonnaise
It’s somewhat weird, but the vinegar and egg combination in mayo really works and also tightens the skin. A tablespoon of mayonnaise should be applied and left to stay for 20 minutes. But because it is already oily, it is not recommended for people with that type of skin.
Lemon mask
Mix a small amount of lemon juice and water and apply it with a cotton ball. After half an hour rinse your face with cold water.
Almond mask
Put 1/3 cup of almonds in a blender and blend until they’re powder. Then water is added until a dough is made, which is what you apply on your face. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and clean your face with lukewarm water. This treatment is practiced at least twice a week.
Cucumber, Apple, Egg and Milk mask
An egg white is mixed with some powdered milk. Blend these two ingredients and add the cucumber and some sliced apple. When a paste is formed, you can apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Then, wash your face with warm water.
Papaya
Put some pealed papaya on a clean face, with the inside part on it. Wash your face with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. This also works for pimples.
Cucumber, Apple, Egg and Milk mask
An egg white is mixed with some powdered milk. Blend these two ingredients and add the cucumber and some sliced apple. When a paste is formed, you can apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Then, wash your face with warm water.
Clay mask
The mask should be prepared a week before and be used just once a week. Clay makes your pores breathe a lot better and also draws out any unwanted dirt and grease and reduces the larger pores.
Lemon drops
Just mix some lemon drops in your favorite face cream, then apply in on your face for 15-20 minutes. The mixture is then cleaned with water.
Honey, Lemon, Apple and Yoghurt mask
A bedtime mask. Start by putting a tablespoon of yoghurt on the sliced apple and add a tablespoon of honey and lemon. The mixture is then applied on the face and kept like that for 15-20 minutes, then removed by warm water.
You can also try these alternatives:
Exfoliation
The exfoliants smoothen the skin with their glycolic acid, so the pores are unblocked and reduce in size.
Laser
An expensive treatment, but effective and long lasting. They work by light pulses on an area of the skin. Skin contact should be avoided, so it does not get damaged.
Microdermabrasion
Effective for people with aged skin and big pores. It smoothes the skin, reduces the pores and eliminates wrinkles.
